IK Multimedia SampleTank 4 comes in three variations, and originally when it was announced the prices were higher, however it looks like they’ve kept the pre-order special prices. The new IK Multimedia SampleTank 4 also has the ability to send multitrack audio directly to separate channels in your DAW, so you can get a good sound straight out of the box, and this also allows you to mix your work in a DAW at a later stage. The new Mixer window gives you quick access over your entire patch, with access to volume, pan and hands-on control over the five effects racks on each of the 16 channels. This allows you to get a great sound straight out of the box and minimizes on the need for heavy post-processing. The new IK Multimedia SampleTank 4 features a rebuilt effects engine, featuring modules from their highly-renowned T-Racks and AmpliTube bundles. The Strummer modules emulates the way a guitarist would strum their guitar, you have various settings for chord, key direction and even neck position! You can even load up MIDI files directly into the plugin.
One of the biggest additions to the new IK Multimedia SampleTank 4 is the new performance tools section, which features an arpeggiator, phraser and strummer.
